A Day In The Life | LA Loving

Hi Guys!

So I know I said I would end up posting about 2 posts by this time, but it never happened because life got in the way. It always does, for better or worse. I was going to put up a haul and a review as well as a random post, but I ended up going out yesterday and today.

Yesterday, I was working at an office and the mall was a couple blocks away, so I decided to walk there for lunch. I ate the chicken quesadilla at Pink Taco and it was amazing, as well as the warm chips and salsa you get for free. (I would include a picture but I was starving and couldn't and I didn't think I would blog this). I also watched Despicable Me 2 (finally) and it was so much better overall than the first one, but both are amazing. I did walk around and look at shops like H&M, Kitson, Bloomingdales, but I couldn't find anything. :(

But today, I went to the Grove! I was dropped off and walked alone for 2 hours while my mom and brother went to get their hair done. Obviously, I went straight to Topshop Topman, my new favorite store. I ended up buying some stuff that I'll post in a haul because I'm still waiting for an order in the mail and I'm probably going to combine with the previous purchases.

Can I just say how hard it was to take this photo with everyone trying to run you over and pushing you into the street where you will get run over? Like, calm down.

Anyways, I spent a good deal of money there for things I need for my trip, which is in 6 days! Ahhh! I've only been here once, which was the day after it's grand opening. But Topman was having a final clearance sale (which I've been stalking for like a week), and everything was within budget, which made everything so tempting.

I did stop in Zara because it was having its sale, but since their's a tinier one by my house and most of the stuff was gone (the sale's been on for months), I didn't pick anything up. I then went to Barnes & Nobles to pick up a book for summer reading even though school starts in 16 days. Ew. I do love reading, but school books are like 98.5% gross.

My friend also saw me when I was walking and can I just saw how weird it is when someone texts you, "I See You", especially when you haven't talked to them in ages? Getting spotted is weird, like it happened the other week. I wonder what it's like being a Youtuber at Vidcon right now... (shoutout to my friend who's actually there trying to survive Zoe's line - if you're reading this I'll buy you Starbucks)

Anyways, I ended up eating at Wood Ranch because my brother wanted to eat there for lunch. The rolls you get are so amazing I can't even. The BBQ Chicken breast and mashed potatoes are amazing too, but the rolls are just incredible. I also stopped by Dylan's Candy Bar but didn't get anything, even though I would've liked to. I recommend the Cookies & Creme and Toffee Chocolate Bars!

After shopping around, we ended up going to Milk because I kept bothering my mom about it because it was like 4 blocks away. Milk is this amazing bakery / ice cream parlor / cafe place. After queueing for like 10 minutes (IT'S SO WORTH IT JUST SO YOU KNOW), I got a Coffee Toffee Ice Cream Sandwich. Since they didn't have the premade macaron version, I got it in between two chocolate chip cookies. My brother got the Cookies & Creme Macaron Sandwich, which was put in the display literally the second we got to the register.

This is honestly the best ice cream I've ever tasted, and I've eaten a lot. They have an array of amazing flavors, including Coffee Toffee, Red Velvet, Salted Caramel, and some unique ones, like Nutella and Thai Iced Tea and Green Tea. They also have sorbets, such as Melon and Blood Orange. If you want an ice cream sandwich, but don't have the macaron version available, they'll happily put your choice ice cream in between two cookies of your choosing. It's so worth the wait and price like can we have one closer to where I live please? Is that too much to ask? If you live in West L.A. or somewhere around the area, VISIT MILK. YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

But yeah, I ended up going home, watched a movie, and ate even more. I'm going to try and do another post (besides Musical Monday) that's most likely going to be a haul, unless the package doesn't arrive.

I hope you guys enjoyed reading (sorry, didn't realize how text heavy this was ahhh) and I hope you have/had an amazing weekend. If you ever want to chat, leave me a comment!

Thanks for reading! Bye!
