Best Dressed
Rose Byrne in Calvin Klein
I thought she looked gorgeous and stunning. The back is what really sold me. Definitely my favorite look of the night.
Christina Hendricks in Christian Siriano
She looked absolutely gorgeous. It was a perfect look all-around, from the make up to the jewelry to the dress. She definitely needs to give her stylist a raise.
It really does say something that these were the only 2 I really liked. When I was compiling the worst dressed, I just couldn't limit it to 2 or 3.
Worst Dressed
Lena Dunham in Prada
Lily Rabe in Vionnet
I don't even understand how anyone could look at this and think it isn't bad. I hope she didn't pay anyone who was involved in this trainwreck.
Zosia Marmet in Honor
First off, I think this watercolor floral print is gorgeous, but it was utilized so poorly in this gown. The weird leather boobs and yolk are insultingly ugly. Had this print been used in a knee-length sheath dress a la Victoria Beckham, I would like it so much better.
Julianne Hough in Jenny Packham
This fabric was really pretty that I actually wish it was used in a more simple gown. Or at least lined. But that doesn't excuse all the weirdness in the bust. It's tacky and she looks kinda desperate with the sheer skirt and low bust. It's such a shame because I thought her hair and make-up was a personal best.
Jessica Pare in Oscar de la Renta
There is such a lack of effort here it's borderline disrespectful. I really hope she didn't pay anyone for that hair because it's so DIY first attempt and OdlR deserves more than that, even this OdlR. Her boobs look like a smushed Christmas present and where are the jewels? Her show was nominated for an Emmy I think she could put more effort into this.
